Within the protected natural resort of Serra de Tramuntana, a little village called Galilea can be found. The name was chosen because of its similarity with the Holy Land. This village attracts hikers, tourists, artists and people who simply come here to stroll through its streets, to contemplate nature and to enjoy some silence not far away from Palma.
Located in the municipal district of Sóller, the Barranc de Biniaraix is a ravine created by the Son Torrella mountain range, L’Ofre and Els Cornadors mountain range. A place of great beauty, it has a pathway made of stone steps. This path begins in Biniaraix and continues until the house of L’Ofre.
Mallorcan Oil is an extra virgin olive oil made with the fruit of the olive tree (Olea Europea) using the Mallorquina or Empeltre, Arbequina and Picual varieties, based on physical processes which ensure that the oil conserves the aroma, taste and properties of the fruit from which it is made.

The “Bulls of Costitx” or “Caps de Bous” (Bull Heads) are three bronze heads from the Talayot period.
Pottery craftsmanship is one of Mallorca’s most dynamic artisan activities. The most common objects made are those used everyday in the Mallorcan kitchen:
Mallorcan Joan Llaneras, gold-medal winner for indoor cycling at both the 2008 Olympic Games in Peking and the Sydney Olympics in 2000, is an expert in the best areas to go cycling in Mallorca. Now 39 years of age, when he was younger, ‘Porrerenc’ never thought that his passion for ‘two wheels’ was anything more than a hobby.
