In the heart of Santa Catalina, in Palma city, passers-by can have a pleasant stroll around a small but very charming market located next to the Parish church, Inmaculada Concepción.
When arriving, you will find the square is bustling with life thanks to the market which is held the first Sunday of every month, that has a dozen stalls selling a wide range of products.
Amongst the different products that the sellers offer in San Magín market are Majorcan items, like the local Broll beer, Pep lemon drinks, Majorcan sobrasada, etc.
Other stalls offer handmade and therefore unique products. Many of these are decorated with the local “llengües” fabric, or fashionable motivational sayings.
There is even a place for charity. Two tables of the market stalls belong to different charities: the Fundación S’Olivar and DARE Home.
