Wine days:  Majorcan drinks,  tapas and architectureThose taking part savour excellent wines coming from 10 bodegas belonging to Binissalem’s Designation of Origen, the event organisers. The wines were accompanied by delicious signature tapas, designed by chefs Miquel Calent, Maria Salinas, José Cortés, Rodrigo Vallejo and pastry chef Maties Miralles.

More exquisite Majorcan produce was available to simple on this fabulous night, provided by the Oli and Oliva de Mallorca designations de origin as well as the Balearic Association of Bakers and Cake makers.

Wine days:  Majorcan drinks,  tapas and architectureWine Days continued all week, with guided tours of the bodegas, wine tasting and explanations of the different varieties of wine cultivated by the Designation of Origin in Binissalem, such as the native Manto negro, Callet, Gargollassa, Moll and Giró ros grapes.

Wine Days was created by the Binissalem Designation of Origen, who host events every spring with the aim of acquainting all wine lovers with the traditional flavours of Majorcan gastronomy, as well as the architectural, scenic and cultural wealth that can be seen in the bodegas, vineyards and surrounding towns of Binissalem, Consell, Santa Eugénia, Santa Maria del Cami and Sencelles.
