The standard excursion begins at 8:00 AM (at 6:30 in the summer) when everyone meets at the hot air balloon launch site. After viewing a video and receiving technical information, the passengers help make preparations for the trip.<\/div>\n

The course is always not set in advance, because it depends on the atmospheric conditions. The company has various vehicles following the itinerary of the balloon on the ground to pick up the passengers upon landing. Back at the hot air balloon launch site, a breakfast buffet is offered to the passengers and they are given a video with images from the excursion.<\/div>\n

Flights are carried out all year<\/strong> round.<\/p>\n

Mallorca Balloons<\/strong> offers flights over the Sierra de Tramontana<\/a>, from Cala d\u2019Or, flights by moonlight, to the Alps and, for the most demanding of passengers, trips with breakfast and a stewardess on board. It also organizes trips to other countries upon request. It will provide trips over Palma starting in 2012.<\/p>\n

Its fleet is made up of nine hot air balloons that can transport 55 people altogether. In 1994, the company made it into the Guinness Book of Records for Spanish speaking countries by breaking the record for take-offs and landings in one year. It currently has the largest hot air balloon in Spain with a capacity of 16 people, and the only one authorized by the Spanish Civil Aviation Authority and declared to be of general interest.<\/p>\n
