There are many perfumes on the market, but only one evokes the true Mallorca. Flor d\u2019Ametler<\/strong> perfume is made from the blossom of a species typical to Mallorca, the almond tree. A traditional fragrance produced by hand, its recipe is a closely-guarded family secret.<\/p>\n

Perfumer Miguel \u00c1ngel Benito is the owner of the workshop located in Pont d\u2019Inca (Marratx\u00ed) and opened 70 years ago by Bernardo Vallori.<\/p>\n

The process begins each year in February with the blossoming of the almond trees, a beautiful sight that covers the island\u2019s fields in blanket of brilliant white.<\/p>\n

The flowers are picked by hand<\/strong> and without any urgency, taking the time necessary time to gather the best harvest possible. The final selection is made at the site of the harvest.<\/p>\n

The flowers are soaked for three to four years so as to optimise the extraction of their essence.<\/p>\n

An essential final touch is the inclusion of a small almond flower in each vial of perfume<\/strong>, as a symbol and natural offering of one of the most deeply-rooted species of our island.<\/p>\n

\"Flor<\/p>\n

Flor d\u2019Ametler had been revamped and alongside the traditional format offers the classic version, most highly sought after by women aged 35 to 50.<\/p>\n

\u2018Fresc<\/a>\u2019<\/strong> is this Mallorcan brand\u2019s most natural fragrance, aimed primarily at young women. Other products from the Flor d\u2019Ametler collection, such as \u2018Desig<\/a>\u2019<\/strong>, \u2018<\/strong>Classic<\/strong><\/a>\u2019<\/strong>, \u2018Tradicional<\/a>\u2019<\/strong>, the varieties of the fresc line, the dermoprotective moisturising cream<\/a>, gel<\/a>, shampoo<\/a>, conditioner<\/a>, oils<\/a>, facial creams<\/a>,\u00a0tonics<\/a>, almond body milk<\/a>, soap and pocket-sized vials, are proof of the diversification of a brand able to combine tradition and modernity.<\/p>\n

Flor d\u2019Ametler perfume has a limited production of 100,000 units per year. It is sold exclusively in Mallorca, as well as via its corporate website. Ninety percent of its clients are French, German and English.
