A visit to the manor, owned by the Zaforteza family, allows one to appreciate the different rooms that made up a typical twelfth century manor house and to walk in some of the most remarkable gardens in Mallorca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"448\" src=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/jardins-d-Alfabia_2.jpg\" alt=\"The Garden of Alfabia, Mallorca\" class=\"wp-image-5319\" title=\"The Garden of Alfabia, Mallorca\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/jardins-d-Alfabia_2.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/jardins-d-Alfabia_2-201x300.jpg 201w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Alf\u00e0bia was originally an Arabic village and the present buildings and gardens retain many remains of this Islamic period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The gardens reflect the influence of Arabic, Italian and English styles with one common component; the interplay with water in waterfalls, fountains, canals and ponds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elisabeth II chose Garden of Alf\u00e0bia on one occasion for a brief stay in Mallorca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Visiting hours<\/strong> 1 April to 31 October: Monday-Saturday, 9.30am-6.30pm.<br>1 to 30 November and 1 January to 31 March: Monday-Friday, 9.30am-5.30pm.
