The company began its activity in 1856 and is now one of the island\u2019s most established wine cellars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"240\" height=\"160\" data-id=\"525\" src=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/03\/macia_batle_el_vino_un_sector_en_expansion1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-525\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Maci\u00e0 Batle Wine<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"260\" height=\"174\" data-id=\"513\" src=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/03\/macia_batle_el_vino_un_sector_en_expansion2.jpg\" alt=\"Bodegues Maci\u00e0 Batle, vino\" class=\"wp-image-513\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Maci\u00e0 Batle Wine<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Its wines, sold under the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/ca\/productes-tipics\/vi-binissalem-mallorca-denominacio-d-origen.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Binissalem-Mallorca Denomination of Origin<\/a>, are exported throughout Europe, but are consumed first and foremost on the Island itself.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here, its main customers are tourists and, increasingly, the residents of Mallorca themselves, attracted by the numerous international won by these native wines throughout the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The wine cellar\u2019s manager, Ram\u00f3n Servalls (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.maciabatle.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Maci\u00e0 Batle wine<\/a>), who is also the president of the Balearic Wine-Producers Association, states that the company is made up of twelve large wine cellars and constitutes 80% of the market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Is wine cultivation experiencing a boom? <\/strong>Yes, he recognises that there has been a rise in the number of smaller wine cellars, and provides statistics: in just five years, the number of wine cellars on Mallorca has tripled and it now boasts some 2,000 hectares of vineyard. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cVine-growing is in fashion and these Mallorcan wines are being offered in hotels more and more, alongside typical Mallorcan and international cuisine\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/03\/macia_batle_el_vino_un_sector_en_expansion3.jpg\" alt=\"Bodegues Maci\u00e0 Batle\" class=\"wp-image-516\" width=\"690\" height=\"230\" title=\"Bodegues Maci\u00e0 Batle, Binissalem\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/03\/macia_batle_el_vino_un_sector_en_expansion3.jpg 540w, https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/03\/macia_batle_el_vino_un_sector_en_expansion3-300x100.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px\" \/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Maci\u00e0 Batle wine cellars are located in Santa Maria del Cam\u00ed, in the heart of Mallorca.
