But then a beach measuring 300 m in width and 50 m in breadth, gently sloping into the sea enchants with the finest sand.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The beaches are quiet and hardly developed and represents an alternative in the peak season to the sometimes somewhat overcrowded beach of Es Trenc on the other side of Col\u00f2nia de Sant Jordi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nThe flat trail starts to the right of the lighthouse and skirts the coastline the entire way. The <strong>National Maritime-Terrestrial <a href=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/ca\/excursions\/parc-nacional-de-cabrera-tresor-de-la-mediterrania.html\">Park of the Cabrera<\/a><\/strong> Archipelago can be seen at all times. The trail passes through several coves until reaching Es Caragol, a long beach of white sand. Cross the beach and follow the coastal trail to Es Carb\u00f3, the following beach.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignright size-full wp-image-3407\" style=\"border: 0; float: right; margin: 10px 20px 10px 20px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/Es-Carbo_3.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"320\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/Es-Carbo_3.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/Es-Carbo_3-281x300.jpg 281w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the course of our excursion and, above all, at our destination, \u201cEs Carb\u00f3\u201d beach, we can see the \u201cLliris de Mar\u201d or, as they are called in English, Sea Daffodils. This is a <strong>legally-protected plant<\/strong> included in the Balearic Catalogue of Threatened Plant Species.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cEs Carb\u00f3\u201d is one of the few places on Mallorca where this flower can be found.
