justify;\">Banyalbufar, a municipality located in the south-western part of the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range, between the terms of Estellencs, Esporles and Valldemossa, has a population of around\u00a0 500.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-3150 size-full\" style=\"margin: 30px 20px 30px 0px; float: left;\" title=\"Banyalbufar, Mallorca\" src=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/banyalbufar_2.jpg\" alt=\"Banyalbufar, Mallorca\" width=\"300\" height=\"223\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nIts\u00a0 landscape\u00a0 is characterised\u00a0 by\u00a0 the\u00a0 surrounding mountains,\u00a0 its\u00a0 spectacular\u00a0 agricultural <strong>terraces<\/strong> and steep coast.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The origins of Banyalbufar have been traced back to the farmhouse erected in the 10th century under the name Banyalbahar, a Moslem place name that means \u201cbuilt next to the sea\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-3155 size-full\" style=\"margin: 10px 0px 10px 20px; float: right;\" title=\"Banyalbufar, Mallorca\" src=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/banyalbufar_3.jpg\" alt=\"Banyalbufar, Mallorca\" width=\"298\" height=\"213\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Traditionally dedicated to cattle raising,\u00a0 shing\u00a0 and\u00a0 agriculture, this\u00a0 house\u00a0 was\u00a0 particularly\u00a0 noteworthy due to the production of cluster <a href=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/ca\/productes-tipics\/tomatiga-de-ramellet.html\">tomatoes<\/a> and\u00a0 wine\u00a0 from Malvas\u00eda.\u00a0 It\u00a0 is\u00a0 currently\u00a0 under renovation.<\/p>\n<p>Worth highlighting are the <strong>\u201cTorre des Verger\u201d tower<\/strong>, the old <strong>\u201cSa Baron\u00eda\u201d\u00a0 palace<\/strong>\u00a0 with\u00a0 its\u00a0 interior courtyard and a 17th-century defence tower.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:
