Inside the church is an <strong>impressive organ<\/strong> dating back to 1762. It was built for the Santo Domingo convent in Palma and moved to this parish in 1837.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Capilla del Roser is a beautiful gothic chapel (14th century); its austere decorations give it a mysterious ambience. Across from the church a gate leads to the romantic, shady rectory garden, built between the 16th and 18th centuries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There is a significant <strong>cultural offer in Santany\u00ed<\/strong>, centred on paintings, music and poetry. The Teatro Principal has a year round programme, it is <strong>open Fridays and Sundays<\/strong> offering plays, conferences and literary presentations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Next to the theatre is an original dry stone cistern, surrounded by a garden, which was built in the 18th century.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-14007\" style=\"border: 0px none; margin: 0px auto 30px; display: block;\" title=\"Santany\u00ed. Mallorca\" src=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/santanyi-cala-figuera-paseo-stroll-1.jpg\" alt=\"santanyi-cala-figuera-paseo-stroll-1\" width=\"540\" height=\"328\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/santanyi-cala-figuera-paseo-stroll-1.jpg 540w, https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/santanyi-cala-figuera-paseo-stroll-1-300x182.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The area\u2019s cliffs provide <strong>Majorcan architecture<\/strong> with the typical Santany\u00ed stone, a hard golden calcarenite, used in building the cathedral as well as modern hotels and country homes.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-14012\" style=\"border: 0px none; margin: 0px auto 30px; display: block;\" title=\"Santany\u00ed. A favourite is <a title=\"Cala Santany\u00ed y Cala Figuera, dos rincones donde perderse\" href=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/excursiones\/cala-santanyi-y-cala-figuera-dos-rincones-donde-perderse.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cala Figuera<\/a>, here we can take a stroll and stop for lunch, enjoying fresh fish just brought in by the local flotilla of <a title=\"El Lla\u00fct, patrimonio cultural\" href=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/productos-tipicos\/el-llaut-patrimonio-cultural.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">lla\u00fcts<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-11101\" style=\"border: 0px none; margin: 0px auto 30px; display: block;\" title=\"Santany\u00ed.
