The Puig de Montisi\u00f3n is one of those for the village Porreres. Precisely for the porrerencs, the inhabitants of this village but also for people from elsewhere, it is the symbolism of Montision which bestows this unique place with its great charm.<\/p>\n<p>  <!--more--> <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignleft size-full wp-image-1310\" style=\"float: left; border-width: 0px; margin-top: 10px; margin-right: 20px; margin-bottom: 10px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/santuari-monti-sion_2.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In order to reach the summit of Monte de Montisi\u00f3n, tourists coming from Palma should make course towards Llucmajor and after that drive to Campos, from where they can take the road that leads to the municipal area of Porreres and finally to the Sanctuary of Montisi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>On the way towards Porreres, the visitors can contemplate two kinds of landscapes, which are extremely different.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignright size-full wp-image-1315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/santuari-monti-sion_3.jpg\" style=\"float: right; border-width: 0px; margin-top: 20px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: 20px;\" width=\"300\" height=\"297\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/santuari-monti-sion_3.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/santuari-monti-sion_3-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p>Halfway between Campos and Porreres, we find Es Monjos on a slope with a considerably high drop, where we can amaze ourselves at the sight of a huge date palm. Once we pass by the houses of Possessi\u00f3 de Es Monjos, red fields full of almond trees turn into stony land and sown fields with old vineyards are scattered with limestones.
