{"id":12292,"date":"2014-10-23T14:03:51","date_gmt":"2014-10-23T12:03:51","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2023-12-04T12:19:42","modified_gmt":"2023-12-04T11:19:42","slug":"landscape-worship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/en\/culture\/landscape-worship.html","title":{"rendered":"Landscape Worship"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Landscape Worship: Interpretation of landscapes can be varied, and depends on each person\u2019s technique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>If we focus on pictorial art, many tendencies linked to landscapes have made the art of painting one of the most accepted by human beings, as it has been in their genes for thousands of years, going right back to prehistoric times when man tried to leave his mark on the caves surrounding him. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This acceptance has meant that we are quickly familiarised with a pictorial piece, looking for a pattern or something we can compare what we are looking at with, so as to identify it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"540\" height=\"405\" src=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/El-culto-al-paisaje-Fuster-Valldemossa.jpg\" alt=\"Landscape Worship: Fuster, Valldemossa.\" class=\"wp-image-12276\" style=\"width:831px;height:auto\" title=\"El culto al paisaje, Fuster: Valldemossa\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/El-culto-al-paisaje-Fuster-Valldemossa.jpg 540w, https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/El-culto-al-paisaje-Fuster-Valldemossa-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Landscape Worship: Fuster, Valldemossa.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>To imitate what we see is very complicated, as the essence of each moment is conditioned at that instant in time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The moment can\u2019t be kept, but it is possible to link a few together to achieve an interpretation. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Kant said that \u201c<strong>artistic beauty isn\u2019t portraying a beautiful object, but beautifully portraying an object<\/strong>\u201d. Therefore each artist has their own unique representation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"540\" height=\"444\" src=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/El-culto-al-paisaje-Gaspar-Riera-Hort-de-Binissalem.jpg\" alt=\"Landscape Worship: Gaspar Riera, Hort de Binissalem.\" class=\"wp-image-12281\" style=\"width:831px;height:auto\" title=\"El culto al paisaje, Gaspar Riera: Hort de Binissalem\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/El-culto-al-paisaje-Gaspar-Riera-Hort-de-Binissalem.jpg 540w, https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/El-culto-al-paisaje-Gaspar-Riera-Hort-de-Binissalem-300x247.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Landscape Worship: Gaspar Riera, Hort de Binissalem.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This motive, has united various artists in two different collective exhibitions that will be held in the setting of a village that is home to both art and culture, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/sitios-con-encanto\/pintoresco-pueblo-valldemossa.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Valldemossa<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The exhibition is titled \u201cEl culto al Paisaje. \u00c9poca dorada y actual\u201d (<strong>Landscape Worship. The Golden age and now<\/strong>). The first exhibition, on the golden age, will unite great artists who passed through Mallorca and marked one of the most spectacular times the island has enjoyed: Joan Fuster, Joan Borras, Antoni Llobet, and Gabriel Fiol. In the second, modern day artists will unite, all on the same theme but with different styles and origins: Mariella Moreno,\u00a0Nathalie Gandouin-Maillard, Esther Coll, Joan Zamora, Pilar Garc\u00eda,\u00a0Dolors\u00a0Mart\u00ed, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/nuestra-gente\/antoni-bennassar-el-tuareg-de-la-pintura-al-pastel.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Toni Bennassar<\/a>, Lucia Parra, Mercedes Alabern and Max Silva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Landscape worship is the perfect excuse to remember that art is closely linked to human\u2019s nature and that a human\u2019s nature is linked to his essence, and the essence is simply contemplation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
