There are about 600 spread out over the whole island.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">These sundials are small works of art; the one in Galtaz\u00f3 is made from lime and set with pebbles. The dials in <a title=\"Raixa, Mallorca\" href=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/sitios-con-encanto\/raixa.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Raixa <\/a>and Alar\u00f3 date back to the 18th century. This last one has the hour lines and numbers painted on it.
