These beaches are part of the coastal area of Sa R\u00e0pita, a popular area with those looking for second homes, both locals and foreigners.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-11321 size-full\" style=\"margin: 10px 20px 10px 0px; float: left;\" title=\"S\u2019Arenal de Sa R\u00e0pita and Ses Covetes, Mallorca\" src=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/ses-covetes-sa-rapita-mallorca-4.jpg\" alt=\"S\u2019Arenal de Sa R\u00e0pita and Ses Covetes\" width=\"350\" height=\"233\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/ses-covetes-sa-rapita-mallorca-4.jpg 350w, https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/ses-covetes-sa-rapita-mallorca-4-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 350px) 100vw, 350px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">They border on the west with <strong>Sa R\u00e0pita\u2019s Club N\u00e1utico<\/strong> and with the rocky Can Sordo area on the east, which forges a natural border with the <strong>Es Trenc beach<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Their waters allow boats to anchor right by the beach. A considerable amount of residents and tourists visit the beaches as they are easily accessible by road. If you arrive in your own vehicle you can park in a paid car park &#8211; there aren\u2019t many free parking spots around. The nearest bus stop is just 150m away.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-11326 size-full\" title=\"S\u2019Arenal de Sa R\u00e0pita and Ses Covetes, Mallorca\" src=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/ses-covetes-sa-rapita-mallorca-3.jpg\" alt=\"S\u2019Arenal de Sa R\u00e0pita and Ses Covetes, Mallorca\" width=\"540\" height=\"271\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/ses-covetes-sa-rapita-mallorca-3.jpg 540w, https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/ses-covetes-sa-rapita-mallorca-3-300x151.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-tadv-p=\"keep\"><strong>Ses Covetes<\/strong>, (Little caves), is named after the burial caves in the area that date back to the \u201cTalayotic\u201d age. Around the area we can see sandstone quarries &#8211; parts of Palma de Mallorca\u2019s defensive walls came from these &#8211; and thermal waters that date back to the roman era; 38\u00ba water that can help with skin and bone ailments, today these are under the management of the Estaci\u00f3n Termal de Sant Joan de la Font Santa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The coastline is characterized by its magnificent natural scenery: the fine sand of its dunes, the pine grove behind the dunes, the tranquillity and the fact that it\u2019s the ideal place for <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/deporte-y-ocio\/flysurf-kitesurf-en-mallorca.html\">surfing and windsurfing<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-11331 size-full\" title=\"S\u2019Arenal de Sa R\u00e0pita and Ses Covetes, Mallorca\" src=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/ses-covetes-sa-rapita-mallorca.jpg\" alt=\"S\u2019Arenal de Sa R\u00e0pita and Ses Covetes, Mallorca\" width=\"540\" height=\"226\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/ses-covetes-sa-rapita-mallorca.jpg 540w, https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/ses-covetes-sa-rapita-mallorca-300x126.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Within the Sa R\u00e0pita Club N\u00e1utico we can find the Son Dur\u00ed defensive tower, built back in the 16th century to warn of Saracen raids, which is still well preserved.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The La R\u00e0pita Club N\u00e1utico has nearly 500 moorings<\/strong>, and offers 24 hour marine and laundry services as well as a sailing school and mooring rental. There is a canteen and restaurant that offers great Mediterranean and international cuisine, specializing in fresh fish and paellas.
