Der Fischadler nistet auf den Kanaren, den Balearen (Mallorca, Menorca und Cabrera) und den Islas Chafarinas.<\/p>\n

Lebensraum<\/strong>
\nAuf den Balearen baut er seine Nester normalerweise an Felsen- und Steilk\u00fcsten.<\/p>\n

Er jagt seine Beute auf dem offenen Meer oder in Buchten, Lagunen oder Stauseen.<\/p>\n

W\u00e4hrend des Wanderzuges ist er in kontinentalen Gew\u00e4ssern fernab des Meeres zu sehen.<\/p>\n


\nBeschreibung<\/strong>
\nL\u00e4nge 52-60 cm, Spannweite 152-167 cm. Lange und schmale Fl\u00fcgel, kurzer Federschwanz. Die Unterseite der Fl\u00fcgel ist wei\u00df und die Weibchen und Jungv\u00f6gel tragen einen graubraunen verschwommenen Streifen auf der Brust.<\/p>\n

Die ausgewachsenen Fischadler haben ein graues Federkleid und das der Jungv\u00f6gel hat helle Tupfen.<\/p>\n
