Hinter dem Gem\u00e4uer des Klosters Santa Mar\u00eda Magdalena leben die Ordensschwestern der Regularkanoniker<\/strong>. Gegen\u00fcber des Paseo de las Flores befinden sich die Unbeschuhten Karmelittinen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Wenige Meter weiter, in der Altstadt, thronen zwei weitere Klausurkloster. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In der Calle de les Caputxines steht das Kloster La Pur\u00edsima Concepci\u00f3n<\/strong>. Im Casal de los Zaforteza in der Calle Concepci\u00f3n wiederum f\u00fchren die Augustinerinnen<\/strong> ein Leben der Zur\u00fcckgezogenheit. In diesem kleinen Teil Palmas findet man vier Kongregationen mit Nonnen, die Expertinnen auf dem Gebiet der Klausur sind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zum Kloster Santa Clara<\/a> im Stadtviertel La Calatrava kommen viele Br\u00e4ute in der Hoffnung, die Gebete der Schwestern w\u00fcrden ihnen am Hochzeitstag gutes Wetter bescheren. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Im Kloster Santa Isabel in der Calle de la Porta del Mar lebten einst Hieronymittinen<\/strong>, die sp\u00e4ter jedoch nach Inca umsiedelten. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weiter au\u00dferhalb des Zentrums, in Sant Francesc de Sales 128, befindet sich das von Salesianerinnen bewohnte Kloster Visitaci\u00f3n de Santa Mar\u00eda<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die meisten Geb\u00e4ude verf\u00fcgen \u00fcber kleine G\u00e4steh\u00e4user, die f\u00fcr Familienmitglieder und religi\u00f6se Besucher reserviert sind<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Viele Stra\u00dfen in Palma sind nach den Klausurorden benannt. Die eindrucksvollen, kargen Mauern, Umz\u00e4unungen und Gitter der Kl\u00f6ster verleihen der Altstadt ihr mittelalterliches Erscheinungsbild<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

W\u00e4hrend man die kosmopolitische Atmosph\u00e4re der Stadt genie\u00dft, ahnt man kaum, dass hier auch einige Expertinnen der Isolation wohnen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Los altos muros del convento de Santa Mar\u00eda Magdalena marcan el inicio de las Ramblas. Detr\u00e1s de ellos, rezan y trabajan monjas canonesas regulares lateranenses, separadas del mundo por vocaci\u00f3n. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cruzando el paseo de las flores, se encuentran las carmelitas descalzas, que llegaron a Palma en 1617. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A pocos metros, entre las v\u00edas m\u00e1s estrechas del casco antiguo, hay dos conventos de clausura m\u00e1s. En la calle de Les Caputxines est\u00e1 el monasterio de la Pur\u00edsima Concepci\u00f3n, mientras que las monjas agustinas siguen su vida de recogimiento en el formidable casal de los Zaforteza, en la calle Concepci\u00f3n. As\u00ed que, esta peque\u00f1\u00edsima zona de Palma concentra cuatro congregaciones de expertas en confinamiento<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Al otro extremo del casco antiguo, en el barrio de La Calatrava, viven las monjas de clausura m\u00e1s populares de la ciudad, si la popularidad interesase a quien elige separarse del mundo. Las novias acuden a las clarisas franciscanas para que los rezos de las moradoras de Santa Clara propicien el buen tiempo el d\u00eda de su boda. Cerca de este monasterio, en la calle de la Porta del Mar, estaban las hermanas Jer\u00f3nimas, pero en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os las tres religiosas que habitaban el convento de Santa Isabel fueron trasladadas a Inca. Ya alejado del centro (Sant Francesc de Sales, 128) se encuentra la Visitaci\u00f3n de Santa Mar\u00eda, de monjas salesas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Diferentes normas rigen la vida de los monasterios y conventos de clausura, imponiendo mayores o menores niveles de austeridad. Queda claro el poder de la madre superiora, quien decide sobre la oportunidad de las entradas y salidas, promoviendo el silencio que impera entre sus muros. La mayor\u00eda de edificios cuentan con peque\u00f1as hospeder\u00edas reservadas a familiares y religiosos de paso. Estas \u00f3rdenes de clausura dan nombres a las calles de Palma. Los imponentes y austeros muros, las verjas y celos\u00edas de sus conventos proveen una fisionom\u00eda medieval al casco antiguo de la ciudad.
