Darunter finden sich zeitgen\u00f6ssische, gotische und k\u00fcnstlerisch wertvolle Skulpturen oder einfach nur Symbole der Stadt.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-align: justify;\">Wir starten an der Plaza de la Porta de Santa Catalina. Dort steht die umgedrehte Kirche von Dennis Oppenheim \u201e<strong>Device to Root Out Evil<\/strong>\u201d, deren Pendant im Denver Art Museum ausgestellt ist. Dieses unterscheidet sich nur durch das verwendete Material.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p>\nWir begeben uns nun an den Paseo Sagrera und gelangen an die Lonja, ein gotisches Geb\u00e4ude. An ihrem Portal befindet sich ein <strong>Schutzengel<\/strong>, unter dem \u201eVerteidiger der Waren\u201d, zu lesen ist. Die Skulptur stammt vom Architekten des Geb\u00e4udes, Guillem Sagrera.<\/p>\n<p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-20414 size-full\" title=\"Angel custodio, La Lonja. Werk von Horacio de Egu\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>In der Calle Palau Reial k\u00f6nnen wir dann die <strong>Bronzestatue<\/strong> \u201eMonumento a la mujer\u201d von Joan Mir\u00f3 bewundern. Die beiden Enden des Boulevard del Borne werden von <strong>vier Sphinxen<\/strong> des Bildhauers Jacint Mateu bewacht.<\/p>\n<p>Gegen\u00fcber der Freitreppe der Plaza Mayor steht dann die Zementstatue \u201e<strong>Lugar de Encuentro V<\/strong>\u201d von Eduardo Chillida.<\/p>\n<p>Und hier endet unser Spaziergang an den Statuen der Stadt vorbei. Es gibt aber noch einige mehr zu entdecken.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-20409 size-full\" title=\"Angel custodio, La Lonja.
