Mallorca Ikat Stoff, Zungenmuster<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

An den Webst\u00fchlen Mallorcas werden die wahrscheinlich letzten Ikat-Stoffe ihrer Art hergestellt. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das Ikat-Verfahren ist eine F\u00e4rbe- und Webtechnik. Auf Mallorca hei\u00dfen diese Stoffe, die auf eine lange Tradition der Insel zur\u00fcckblicken, Robes de Lleng\u00fces<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Bei dieser Technik werden Muster in den Stoff gewebt, wobei einige F\u00e4den von der F\u00e4rbung gesch\u00fctzt werden und so ungef\u00e4rbt bleiben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bevor die F\u00e4den in den Webstuhl kommen, werden sie sorgf\u00e4ltig an einer Haspel geordnet, um das Muster anzulegen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daraus entsteht letztlich ein Stoff mit einem geometrischen<\/strong> Muster, dessen R\u00e4nder verblasst sind, was dann aussieht wie Feuerzungen. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Ein unverkennbares Merkmal dieses Gewebes ist, dass es auf Vorder- und R\u00fcckseite gleich aussieht<\/strong>.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Die traditionellen Farben der mallorquinischen Ikats<\/strong> sind blau, rot und gr\u00fcn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Mallorca Ikat Stoffe \u201eLleng\u00fces-Stoffe\u201c (\u201eZungenstoffe<\/strong>\u201c) werden schon seit sehr langer Zeit fabriziert, gewannen aber vor allem im 17.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jahrhundert an Bedeutung, als die Bourgeoisie Mallorcas sie zu tragen begann. Damals waren die aus Seide hergestellten Stoffe sehr teuer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ab dem 20. Jahrhundert webte man sie aus Baumwolle und Leinen. Als Bezugsstoff zeichnet sich das hochwertige Gewebe, das lange haltbar und waschfest ist, durch seine Widerstandsf\u00e4higkeit aus.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

In der heutigen Zeit werden au\u00dferdem Leinenschuhe und Taschen daraus gefertigt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
