Auf dem Puig de Masanella sind noch heute elf&nbsp; \u201eSchneeh\u00e4user\u201c erhalten, die 2004 die Auszeichnung <strong>\u201eBien de Inter\u00e9s Cultural\u201c (Kulturgut)<\/strong> erhielten.<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Der Name \u201eSchneehaus\u201c bezieht sich auf das Steinhaus, in dem die \u201eNevaters\u201c (Schneeh\u00e4ndler) unterkamen, und auf das Depot, in dem der Schnee gelagert wurde sowie auf die Terrassen, Sch\u00e4chte, <a title=\"Trockenmauern\" href=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/cultura\/la-pedra-en-sec-un-arte-desarrollado-y-perfeccionado-popularmente.html\">Trockenmauern<\/a> und Brunnen. Zu den H\u00e4usern gelangt man \u00fcber speziell angelegte Wege.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Zwischen dem 17. und dem 19. Jahrhundert war der Eishandel auf Mallorca von gro\u00dfer wirtschaftlicher Bedeutung. Der Schnee wurde eingesammelt und im Fr\u00fchling gepresst. Im Sommer wurden dann Eisbl\u00f6cke herausgeschnitten und nachts transportiert, um deren Schmelzung zu verhindern. Mit dem Aufkommen des K\u00fchlschranks zu Anfang des 20.
