Dieser Prozess, der im Rahmen der spanischen Herrschaft der Christen stattfand, bildete einen wichtigen Teil des Vorhabens, das ab 1228<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">von dem Monarchen vorangetrieben wurde. Damit sollte die Macht des K\u00f6nigs bekr\u00e4ftigt und das Prestige und die Autorit\u00e4t der Krone wiedererlangt werden. Es wurde eine kollektive milit\u00e4rische Kompanie eingef\u00fchrt, die allen Nutzen bringen sollte. Jakob I sollte die treibende Kraft und der oberste Machthaber bei diesem Unterfangen sein.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-1015 size-full\" style=\"border: 0px none; margin: 10px 0px 10px 20px; float: right;\" title=\"Jaume I - Die Eroberung Von Mallorca\" src=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/jaume-I-2_IIIcapitulo.jpg\" alt=\"Jaume I - Die Eroberung Von Mallorca\" width=\"300\" height=\"221\" \/>Am 5.September 1229 stach die christliche Flotte von Salou, Cambrils und Tarragona aus in See und nahm Kurs auf Mallorca. Sie bestand aus 150 Schiffen, von denen die meisten aus Katalonien stammten. In verschiedenen Quellen wird erw\u00e4hnt, dass 800 Ritter und tausende von Soldaten beteiligt waren.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Die Truppen von Jakob I landeten in Santa Pon\u00e7a und besiegten die Mauren in der Schlacht von Portopi am 13. September 1229. In Santa Pon\u00e7a wurde ein Kreuz zum Gedenken an dieses Ereignis errichtet und am besagten Datum finden Feierlichkeiten statt, in denen die Ankunft der Truppen nachgestellt wird.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nach harten K\u00e4mpfen gelang es Jakob I schlie\u00dflich, Madina Mayurqua am 31. Dezember 1229 einzunehmen. <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-1020 size-full\" style=\"margin: 10px 0px 10px 20px; float: right;\" title=\"Jaume I - Die Eroberung Von Mallorca\" src=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/jaume-I-3_IIIcapitulo.jpg\" alt=\"Jaume I - Die Eroberung Von Mallorca\" width=\"300\" height=\"283\" \/>Die Christen ermordeten den letzten maurischen Machthaber Ab\u00fa Yahya, brannten die Stadt nieder und brachten die Bev\u00f6lkerung um. Es kamen so viele Menschen zu Tode, dass es unm\u00f6glich war, alle Leichen zu begraben. Folglich wurden die Truppen durch eine Pest-Epidemie dezimiert. Die Adeligen, die an der Eroberung beteiligt waren, fassten den Plan, das Diebesgut f\u00fcr sich zu behalten, statt es unter der Truppe aufzuteilen. Die Soldaten jedoch begehrten gegen diese Situation auf und schlie\u00dflich bekam jeder der M\u00e4nner seinen Anteil.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Die Pl\u00fcnderung der Stadt dauerte bis zum 30. April 1230. Die Mauren, denen die Flucht gelang, organisierten sich in der Serra de Tramuntana, wo sie zwei Jahre lang den Christen trotzten.
