Jahrhundert im eingefriedeten Gebiet erbaut, als eine Artillerieabwehr erforderlich wurde. Wenn die am Hafen von Palma anlegenden Schiffe Gesch\u00fctzsalven abfeuerten, wurden diese schlie\u00dflich von den Bastionen aus erwidert. Seit dem Jahr 1952 hat sie ihre Bedeutung als Bezugspunkt strategischer Abwehr verloren. Im Jahr 1963 wurde sie teilweise abgerissen und dann umgehend wieder aufgebaut. In der heutigen Zeit gilt dieses kunsthistorische Bauwerk als eines der herausragendsten und meistbesuchten Gem\u00e4uer der Stadt.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Noch komplexer war allerdings die Entstehung der Bastion del Pr\u00edncep an der Mauer von Llevant. In den vierziger Jahren wurde auf die Bastion eine Einberufungsstelle gebaut. Dieses Milit\u00e4rgeb\u00e4ude trug erheblich zur Besch\u00e4digung der Anlage bei.
