A m\u00e9s de ser el primer autor que va utilitzar una llengua neolatina per a expressar coneixements filos\u00f2fics, cient\u00edfics i t\u00e8cnics i de destacar per una aguda percepci\u00f3 que li va permetre anticipar molts conceptes i descobriments, va esser el creador del catal\u00e0 literari, amb un super domini de l\u2019idioma.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignleft size-full wp-image-6476\" style=\"margin: 20px 20px 10px 0px; float: left;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/Ramon-Llull-2.jpg\" alt=\"Ramon-Llull-2\" width=\"200\" height=\"324\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/Ramon-Llull-2.jpg 200w, https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/Ramon-Llull-2-185x300.jpg 185w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Va n\u00e9ixer a Palma, al poc temps de la conquesta de Mallorca pel rei Jaume I.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Al 1257 es va casar amb Blanca de Picany i va tenir dos fills, Dom\u00e8nec i Magdalena.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Durant els seus anys a la cort del rei Jaume, primer com a patge, successivament senescal i majordom reial, es va dedicar a fer una vida luxosa i de gran ostentaci\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Cap als trenta anys, la seva vida va canviar radicalment: va tenir quatre aparicions de Crist crucificat. La profunda impressi\u00f3 que li van causar aquestes visions el va portar a deixar la bona vida, vendre les seves propietats i patrimoni per avan\u00e7ar l\u2019her\u00e8ncia de la seva dona i fills, als que va abandonar per sentir-se cridat per D\u00e9u per predicar als camins, dedicant-se a convertir els infidels mitjan\u00e7ant la persuasi\u00f3, a escriure llibres i a demanar a les autoritats la fundaci\u00f3 de monestirs. Se\u2019n va anar a peregrinar per Terra Santa (1265) i un esclau li va ensenyar la llengua \u00e0rab. Va estudiar el llat\u00ed, la filosofia musulmana i la filosofia i la teologia cristiana antiga.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignleft size-full wp-image-6481\" style=\"margin: 20px 20px 10px 0px; float: left;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/Ramon-Llull-3.jpg\" alt=\"Ramon-Llull-3\" width=\"200\" height=\"286\" \/><br \/>\nEs va retirar a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.masmallorca.es\/ca\/llocs-amb-encant\/randa-2.html\" target=\"_blank\">Randa<\/a> en 1273 per fer vida contemplativa. Al 1276 aconsegueix fundar el monestir de Miramar a l\u2019illa de Mallorca, on s\u2019ensenyava l\u2019\u00e0rab als missioners, aix\u00ed com la manera de conv\u00e8ncer als musulmans.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Viatj\u00e0 per diversos pa\u00efsos d\u2019Europa (Alemanya, Fran\u00e7a, Italia, etc.) i del nord d\u2019\u00c0frica (Alg\u00e8ria, Ceuta, Tunis, Jerusalem, Egipte, etc.). Visit\u00e0 fil\u00f2sofs, papes, i reis, i explic\u00e0 els seus pensaments a la universitat de Par\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Va morir al 1316 tornant a Mallorca d\u2019un viatge a Tunis. El seu cos va ser enterrat a l\u2019esgl\u00e8sia de Sant Francesc a Mallorca.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Va escriure m\u00e9s de 250 llibres de filosofia (Ars magna), de ci\u00e8ncia (Arbre de sci\u00e8ncia, Tractat d\u2019astronomia), d\u2019educaci\u00f3 (Blanquerna, que inclou el Llibre de Amic e Amat), de m\u00edstica (Llibre de contemplaci\u00f3), de gram\u00e0tica (Ret\u00f2rica nova), novel\u00b7les (Llibre de meravelles, que inclou el Llibre de les b\u00e8sties), etc., que va anar traduint a l\u2019\u00e0rab, al catal\u00e0 i al llat\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Crist\u00f3bal Colom va estudiar els seus llibres i ho tenia per mestre de mestres.
